FAQ
-
How do I start?
Contact me to schedule a free 15 minute phone call. During this time I will answer any questions you have and see if we feel like a good fit.
-
How often do we meet?
I typically meet with clients once per week. In our first meeting together we will identify a regular meeting time that works for both of our schedules. Especially in the beginning, this can be helpful while establishing the relationship and as we build momentum toward change. For a variety of reasons — financial, logistical — clients may not be able to meet every week or prefer more flexible scheduling. These are options we will discuss in our first appointment.

Can we meet in-person?
Yes, I meet with clients at my office located in Northwest Portland’s Alphabet District.

Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, I also offer virtual sessions via a HIPAA-compliant video conference platform for clients located anywhere in Oregon or Washington.
-
Do you take my insurance?
I am in-network with several plans in Oregon and Washington, including Providence, Moda, Aetna, and Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield. Network and plan coverage can change regularly and I recommend verifying your mental health benefits directly with your insurer.
-
Do you offer Superbills?
Yes. For clients using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a Superbill to be submitted to your insurance plan for potential reimbursement.
-
Do you accept cash, private pay, out of pocket?
Yes. For a variety of reasons, clients may choose to pay out of pocket for therapy as this can allow greater flexibility and privacy in treatment.
-
What is your rate?
